Sunshine and showers
First thing across parts of Wales into the West Midlands there will be some cloud and patchy rain. This will soon clear off with sunny spells developing with the showery rain pushing into central and some southern parts of England. Elsewhere, after any mist and fog will soon clear allowing for developing sunny spells though cloud will bubble up bringing the risk of showers developing towards midday.
The afternoon sees sunny spells and showers continue, some could be heavy. It should stay largely dry through much of Ireland, Wales and southwest England as well as northern Scotland.
Overnight, many showers look to ease off to allow for a dry night with clear spells, though cloud will thicken across Northern Ireland and western regions of Ireland with showery rain moving in to western areas here by morning. Lows at 5 to 8C.
