Pleasant temperatures

Good morning,

It's a reasonable day for a Bank Holiday Monday - sunny spells and a few afternoon showers is the general theme.

Fairly cloudy skies overall, but some breaks will occur at times. The best sunshine typically near to western coasts in the afternoon.

Local patchy rain for eastern Scotland in the morning, plus an odd pocket of drizzle elsewhere around low cloud, but many places will be dry until a scattering of showers form by afternoon. Many will miss these, but where they do form, they will be quite slow-moving with light winds, an odd heavy burst of rain is possible.

Today's top temperatures reaching 14 to 17C, feeling pleasant in any sun. Cooler with local sea breezes near the coast. The northeast of Scotland and England will be cooler with a northerly breeze here.

Have a great day.
Garry
