More unsettled with rain and or showers

In the morning, largely cloudy with showers and or longer spells of rain gradually becoming more widespread across the country, falling heavy across some eastern areas. Though many places also remain dry.

In the afternoon, sunshine will develop across Ireland and Northern Ireland as well as west Scotland, but also showers are set to continue for many, some of these likely to be heavy with the risk of hail and thunder. A cooler feeling day.

Overnight, clear spells continue across Ireland, Northern Ireland as well as north and west Scotland where lows could become realtaively cool, though scattered showers are still to be expected. Heavy showers and or longer spells of rain continue to affect east Scotland as well as much of England and Wales.
