Some rain in north but dry and feeling warm in south

In the morning, it will be cloudy with some rain through Scotland into Northern Ireland. Cloudier across northern England with some showery rain affecting western hills. Elsewhere, dry with sunny spells.

The afternoon sees the rain turn persistent across parts of north and west Scotland. Showery rain reaching eastern areas here. Elsewhere, mainly dry still with sunny spells and feeling warm across southern England.

Overnight, cloud continues to affect the north and west with outbreaks of rain progressively turning heavier and more persistent across west Scotland, north and west Ireland and Northern Ireland. Patchy, lighter rain reaching east Scotland and northwest England as well as west Wales. Elsewhere, dry with clear spells.
