Bright and mostly dry, best sunshine in the east, showers in western Scotland
Pachy rain to start Tuesday morning across parts of the southern Midlands, southern England and East Anglia. This will be fading to leave cloud and dry weather. Much brighter for northern England and much of Scotland and Ireland. Showers affecting western coasts and hills of Scotland with a brisk southwest wind here.
The afternoon stays bright with some good spells of sunshine for most, although always more cloud in the far south. Showers in western Scotland and a few over the hills of northwest England. Most areas will ne dry though, the best sunshine in the east.
A fair night with some clear skies for much of eastern Scotland and Ireland. Some showers in northern and western Scotland with a few in western Ireland too. More persistent rain by the morning may reach Wales and southwest England.
