Increasing cloud in the west with rain and drizzle, drier to the east

Good morning,

Increasing coud through western parts of the UK and Ireland today. There will be drizzle and outbreaks of rain in Irland, these increasingly affecting western coasts of Wales and Scotland as well as northwest England. Eastern areas should be starting drier and brighter with some sunny spells.

This afternoon remains wet in western Scotland with outbreaks of rain in Ireland too. Further periods of drizzle over the west of Scotland, west Wales and western England. Eastern areas should be drier and brighter with sunny spells here. A band of rain passing through Ireland, Scotland, northern England and Wales tonight. Drier weather follows into western Ireland. Breezy too.
