Morning Call - September 15, 2019
Outbreaks of rain for some
Warm south

Issued: 0530hrs Sunday 15th September 2019
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

Outbreaks of light rain across Northern Ireland, the north of England and north Wales marks the boundary between cooler air to the north and warmer air to the south. A cool day for northern parts of the UK, milder to the south and for Ireland.

Good morning,

Sunday starts on a dry note for most of us across the UK and Ireland though a front brings outbreaks of light, drizzly rain to the northern half of Ireland, southern Scotland and northern England through the morning. Showers will affect western parts of Scotland too. Cloudy for most through the morning with the best of any sunshine over southern England and northeastern Scotland.

Through the afternoon outbreaks of light, showery rain will continue over the northern half of Ireland, northern parts of England and into north Wales. It may stay rather cloudy to the south of this front for much of Ireland, England and Wales while conditions should brighten over Scotland through the afternoon. High temperatures behind the front for Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England at 10 to 15C. Warmer to the south at 17 to 24C.

Rain becomes lighter and more showery in nature as it moves south across Ireland, Wales and the Midlands on Sunday evening. Dry elsewhere with the best of any evening brightness over central Scotland.

Have a great day!
Claire
