Bright

Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 7th September 2019
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

It's a mostly dry and bright day across the British Isles today though there will be some showers for southern parts of the country.

Good morning,

Saturday starts on a dry note for most across the UK and Ireland with a mixture of broken cloud and some sunny spells. A few light showers may affect the far northeast of Scotland, Wales, the West Midlands, East Anglia and the southeast through the morning. Breezy too for East Anglia.

Isolated showers may continue for Wales, the Midlands and southern parts of England through the afternoon but it will stay dry for most. The best of any sunshine will be to the north and east. High temperatures widely at 13 to 18C.

Showers ease into Saturday evening leaving a dry and fine end to the day.

Have a great day!
Claire
