Milder with showers, heavy and thundery at times
The mixed weather is set to continue through the coming week. Low pressure brings showers, some of them heavy and thundery. These showers continue into the middle of the week, although may briefly fade later. Feeling warmer for all.

Tuesday 11/5/21 Low pressure over Ireland on Tuesday. The day is likely to see fewer showers for many than on Monday. There will be sunny spells, although a few showers could affect parts of central and northern England and Scotland, many areas should stay drier. More persistent rain across much of western and southern Ireland as well as northwest Scotland. Temperatures will be reaching 13 to 18C.
Wednesday 12/5/21 Low pressure remains overhead the UK and Ireland on Wednesday. There will be more widespread, heavy and thundery showers just about anywhere. Some sunny spells between the showers, the best of the sunshine in the morning. Highs at 12 to 17C.
Thursday 13/5/21 Low pressure remains on Thursday. Sunny spells in the morning, but showers will be quickly developing and these will turn heavy and thundery, most over high ground, and perhaps most in the west too. Highs at 12 to 17C.
Friday 14/5/21 A weak ridge of high pressure building through the country on Friday. There could be some showers developing in sea breezes around southern and western coasts. Generally it will be drier and brighter with sunny spells. Highs at 12 to 17C.
Saturday 15/5/21 Low pressure west of Ireland may bring a front through Ireland and into the west of the UK. This gives rain, some of it heavy in western Scotland. Perhaps drier in the east with increasing cloud. Highs at 10 to 16C.
Sunday 16/5/21 A mixed southwesterly flow affects the UK and Ireland on Sunday. Periods of rain across Ireland and western Scotland. Sunshine and scattered showers in other areas. Highs at 11 to 17C.
