Monday 17/5/21
Low pressure moves eastwards off towards the Low Countries on Monday, which allows a more north-westerly flow to set up across the UK and Ireland. Sunshine and showers are again expected and some are likely to be heavy and possibly thundery at times, particularly further east and southeast. Best of any drier weather will be across northern Scotland as well as westernmost areas of England, Wales and Ireland. Top temperatures near 10 to 15C.

Tuesday 18/5/21
A northwest flow continues across the British Isles on Tuesday. There will be sunny spells and a scattering of showers. Cloud could thicken with some longer spells of rain pushing in across southern Ireland, southwest England and south Wales as an area of low pressure pushes towards NW France. Highs at 10 to 15C.

Wednesday 19/5/21
A somewhat chillier day across Scotland in particular as winds continue to push down from the north here. A day of some sunny spells about but plenty of showers to contend with and possibly longer spells of rain as the British Isles stays within a trough. Highs of 8C or 9C in northern Scotland but generally elsewhere highs between 11 and 16C.

Thursday 20/5/21
Currently, models are suggesting a wet day for England, Wales and parts of Ireland on Thursday as rain pushes through on low pressure feature passing eastwards here. Drier further north but most likely largely cloudy. Chillier to the north with highs reaching 11C. Further south highs between 11 and 16C.

Friday 21/5/21
A mixed day for Friday as the British Isles remains within a trough therefore suggesting some sunny spells but also showers, some of these heavy, with possible longer spells of rain to parts of Northern Ireland, Ireland and some western areas of the UK. Highs at 10 to 15C.

Saturday 22/5/21
Sunshine and showers again on Saturday but high pressure tries to build in from the west so showers look to become confined to more eastern areas through the day. Highs at 10 to 15C.
