Sunday 9/5/21
Low pressure is expected to be centred over Ireland on Sunday. This is going to be bringing another day of blustery showers, some of them heavy. Longer spells of rain will also affect northern and western areas of Scotland and Ireland. A band of rain looks to sweep eastwards across England also. Highs at a mild 18C in southeast England, more generally highs between 10 to 15C.

Monday 10/5/21
Low pressure is expected to be over Ireland again on Monday. This brings strong winds and frequent, heavy, blustery showers across much of Ireland and the western UK. Fewer showers towards the east with some sunny spells. Highs at 16C in the southeast and parts of eastern England in the sunshine but more generally between 10 and 14C.

Tuesday 11/5/21
The area of low pressure continues to be affecting all parts of the UK and Ireland on Tuesday. A mix of sunshine and showers for all, the heaviest of the showers and perhaps some longer spells of rain in Ireland and western Scotland. Fewer showers further east. Highs at 9 to 14C but again could reach up to 17C across parts of eastern England.

Wednesday 12/5/21
The area of low pressure weakens significantly on Wednesday although do expect another day of sunshine and showers for many, some of these showers once again heavy in places. Longer spells of rain towards southern and southwest England as well as Wales as another area of low pressure pushes in towards the southwest in the morning. Highs at 11 to 16C.

Thursday 13/5/21
The UK and Ireland still under the influence of low pressure on Thursday bringing showers, in places merging into longer spells of rain, and sunny spells. Becoming windy across the Northern Isles and possibly eastern English coasts. Highs warmest to the west at 12 to 16C, further east slightly cooler.

Friday 14/5/21
A slackened pressure gradient over the UK and Ireland on Friday with showers developing. With low pressure over the near continent southern counties of England could see more cloud cover and possible longer spells of rain. Low confidence in this at this stage however. Highs at 10 to 16C.
