Enjoy the largely dry, sunny and warm conditions coming up before a breakdown occurs from midweek
Largely dry, with good spells of sunshine for many while feeling warmer through the next few days. From midweek a rather lively breakdown in the high pressure is expected-heavy and possibly thundery showers from the near continent. Looking more settled again for the following weekend.

Tuesday 1/6/21 Pressure stays reasonably high through Tuesday. Cloudier skies further west with the risk of some patchy light rain and drizzle for the Western Isles as well as western coasts of Ireland. Lengthy spells of sunshine expected towards the east of Scotland and England. Another warm day for many with highs at 18 to 23C.
Wednesday 2/6/21 On Wednesday, pressure is staying high across Scotland as well as northern and eastern England where it will be dry and sunny. Meanwhile, low pressure, situated just to the south of Ireland, will push a band of rain northwards across southwest England, Ireland into Northern Ireland and Wales and then across southern and central areas of England as the day progresses. Rain will be heavy and possibly thundery in places. Highs at 16 to 22C.
Thursday 3/6/21 With low pressure over Ireland on Thursday expected a mixed to unsettled day across Ireland and Northern Ireland with outbreaks of rain. Scotland too will see outbreaks of rain, at times heavy. Drier across England and much of Wales although rather cloudy. Highs for most between 13 and 19C but across central and southeast England highs could reach to 20 to 22C if the sun manages to peep through.
Friday 4/6/21 Friday is somewhat uncertain at this stage, but there is the risk of some very heavy showers, likely thundery, to push up from the near continent into southern England initially then push northwards through the day. Highs generally between 13 to 19C but southeast England could reach to highs of 22 or 23C once again.
Saturday 5/6/21 Weak high pressure around on Saturday so a calmer day compared to previous days. Sunny spells but also some showers developing, some likely to be heavy at times. Highs at 14 to 20C.
Sunday 6/6/21 Higher pressure still looks to ridge in across the country on Sunday allowing for another largely dry day with sunny spells, however, with the continued risk of a few scattered showers developing. Highs at Highs at 15 to 20C.
