Showers western Scotland
Good morning,
It will feel fresher for most places today as the airflow turns round to the west or northwest.
A weak cold front drifting across the Midlands and southern England brings a zone of cloud, perhaps a spot of rain locally, but most places will be dry. Some brighter skies and sunny spells developing from the northwest across England and Wales.
Breezy for Scotland, Northern Ireland and the north of England, feeling quite cool. A risk of gales for the Northern Isles. Showery rain for western Scotland, but largely dry toward the central belt.
Today's top temperatures may reach 19C in the far southeast, but nearer 16C in the Midlands and Wales, 12 to 14C further north and northwest.
Have a great day. Garry
