Dull, misty, damp west, but brighter and warmer in the east
It's a rather cloudy start to the day for many of us. Some outbreaks of rain and drizzle with low cloud shrouding the hills of Scotland. The weak front causing this rain slips south into the northeast of England during this morning, the drizzle moving down the eastern coasts towards East Anglia. Drier for most other areas, although always fairly dull and misty. Feeling mild.
This afternoon sees what remains of the front through western and southern Scotland, northern and eastern England, and this will be producing some spots of rain and drizzle here. Drier in the west and south with a few bright spells coming through. A rather murky afternoon for many in the north and east through. Mild in the south in any sunshine, feeling much cooler in the north and especially cool down eastern coasts.
Tonight sees further drizzle and patchy rain in western Scotland, Wales and parts of the Midlands and southern England. Rather misty and murky here. Drier with some clear spells to the east.
