Mild overall with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, most in the west, drier next week

Mild and mixed conditions through the course of this week. Low pressure will be bringing some rain and drizzle at times, most of it affecting western areas. Into week there are hints of higher pressure building and this should bring dry weather, although again western coast and hills are likely to have some drizzle.

Thursday 12/11/20
A wet night into Thursday morning, but the rain should clear eastern parts of England and Scotland early on. A brighter, dry spell of weather will then follow. However through the afternoon thicker cloud and some showers will be drifting into western England and Wales as well as the west and south west of Scotland. More persistent rain may affect western Ireland and it will become increasingly breezy in the west too. A cooler day with highs around 8 to 12C.


Friday 13/11/20
Early morning rain affecting eastern areas on Friday. Brighter and dry weather will be affecting central and eastern parts, but blustery showers will be over western Scotland, western Wales and west in England as well as western Ireland. Breezy, a risk of gales in Scotland and Ireland with highs at 8 to 12C.
 


Saturday 14/11/20
Low-pressure remains to the west of Scotland on Saturday. A brisk Southwest wind brings plenty of cloud and a risk of some gales in the west. Outbreaks of rain and drizzle in western parts of the UK with the risk of heavy rain in western Scotland, this rain slipping east over the rest of the UK in the afternoon. Brighter in Ireland in the afternoon. Highs at 10 to 15C.

Sunday 15/11/20
The Southwest flow persists through Sunday and bring some cloud and outbreaks of rain across central and southern England and Wales. Elsewhere it should be brighter but also cooler with a mix of sunny spells and showers. Most showers affecting western areas. Highs at 7 to 9C in northern parts, 12 to 14C in the south.

Monday 16/11/20
A rich of high-pressure may build through Monday. This should bring a quieter day of weather with cloud breaking and some bright spells developing. Drizzle may still affect western Scotland and western Ireland as well as some western coast of Wales and Southwest England. Highs at 8 to 12C.

Tuesday 17/11/20
The ridge of high-pressure is maintained into Tuesday. This will bring a largely dry day although one which could have fair amount cloud. Drizzle affects western coast and hills. Milder at 11 to 14C.
