Misty and murky, some fogg days and feeling colder

Higher pressure builds over the coming days. This brings plenty of must and murk with the risk of some fog too. Cooler days and a risk of some frost overnight. Hints of next week seeing milder weather in Scotland, but staying generally drier in the south with the less cool air eventually arriving here.

Friday 27/11/20
High pressure remains over the UK on Friday, centred to the east. There may be a morning frost with mist and fog for many. A rather murky day across many parts of England and Wales. There is a risk of drizzle and light rain in East Anglia central and southeast England. Some sunshine in central areas. Highs at 5 to 8C.
 


Saturday 28/11/20
High pressure to the east with a southeast flow. There will be quite a lot of mist and low cloud with some drizzle in places. The risk of more persistent rain in the east. Some brighter spells as well in the west. A cold day for many with highs at 4 to 6C, around 8C along eastern coasts.
 


Sunday 29/11/20
A weak front through Scotland bringing cloud, drizzle and some mist here as well as through Northern Ireland. Mist and fog patches to the south with variable cloud and generally murky conditions. Brighter in western Scotland. Highs at a cold 4 to 6C. but 9C in the southeast.

Monday 30/11/20
Higher pressure remains over the UK and Ireland on Monday. There could be further mist and fog over Wales and England, but this may lift to give sunny spells. Breezy and cloudy in western Scotland with rain here. Brighter in the east. Highs at 4 to 7C.

Tuesday 1/12/20
A ridge of high pressure over Ireland and the south of the UK. Rather cloudy here with the risk of some drizzle in the west. More cloud in Scotland with further rain and drizzle to the north and west of Scotland. brighter in the east. Highs at 5 to 8C.

Wednesday 2/12/20
Pressure staying higher south and east with broken cloud. Cloud and some rain may affect northern and western Scotland. Highs at 5 to 8C.
