Mild and mixed, damp at the weekend but then drier next week

A mixed week of weather ahead. It will be generally mild with only brief intervals of cooler conditions. It will be wet at times as bands of rain pass eastwards with the weekend showing signs of being breezy and damp. Probably be coming dryer next week as average of high-pressure bills.

Friday 13/11/20
Showery rain over East Anglia, southeast and southern England at first on Friday morning as a cold front clears south. Brighter weather follows to much of Wales and England as well as eastern Scotland. Windy across Scotland with heavy showers in the west and north. Showers in western Ireland, but brighter and dry in the east. Highs near 9 to 12C for most, 14C in the southeast.


Saturday 14/11/20
Cloud and outbreaks of rain through Saturday over most of England and Wales as well as Ireland. Western Scotland is going to be cloudy with rain and drizzle, this affecting western Wales and western coasts and hills of England too. Drier in northeast England, damper later. Mild in the south and west, cooler north and east. Highs at 9 to 14C.
 


Sunday 15/11/20
Morning rain in the southeast at first, clearing quickly. Brighter and cooler weather follows from the west bringing some sunny spells. Showers affecting western coasts and hills, these heavy and merging into longer spells of rain in western Scotland. Highs at 8 to 11C.

Monday 16/11/20
A ridge of high pressure building over the UK on Monday. This brings rather cloudy conditions and it is likely to be misty and murky in many areas too. Drizzle in western and southern Ireland as well as western Scotland. Highs at 9 to 12C.

Tuesday 17/11/20
A ridge of high pressure remains in England and Wales. Plenty of cloud, but this breaks to leave some bright or sunny spells. Cloud and rain in Ireland and western Scotland, the rain could be heavy here. Plenty of mist and fog affecting wester and southern coasts too. Highs at 10 to 12C.

Wednesday 18/11/20
Outbreaks of showery rain passing eastwards. Brighter weather and sunny spells developing in the west. Windy in Ireland and western Scotland bringing cloud and rain. Highs at 10 to 13C.
