Unsettled with rain & showers, but also developing sunny spells

Good morning,

A progressively wet morning across southern and central regions of England and Wales with strengthening winds. Rain affecting northern Scotland but elsewhere across Scotland including northern England it will be dry with some sunny spells.

Developing sunny spells across Wales and England but also still wet for many with showers or longer spells of rain. Patchy rain will also push into northern regions of England and southern Scotland. Staying largely dry further north.

Overnight, England and Wales will become dry with clear spells and winds easing. Rain continues to push northwards and affect much of Ireland still as well as heavy rain across Northern Ireland into southern Scotland.
