Light winds, morning fog patches

Good morning,

High pressure resides over southern Britain today leading to a fine day once early mist patches clear.

A mix of sunshine and broken cloud, best toward the east. Light winds for most of England and Wales, although breezier further north.

Fronts moving in from the west bring some rain to western Scotland and Ireland as southwesterly winds increase.

Today's top temperatures reaching 13 to 16C after a cool start, warmest in eastern England.
