Morning Call - October 07, 2022
Rain moving into Midlands
Showery northwest

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 7th October 2022
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Mild in south, breezy for all

Good morning,

It's a breezy day out there today, with some heavy rain and showers. Central and southeastern areas stay driest for longest with some sunshine and feeling mild.

A cold front drifts south across northern England and Wales from the morning, heavy bursts of rain spreading across the Midlands through the middle of the day.

Some brighter skies but also showers follow across northern England. Frequent showery rain for western Scotland, whilst eastern Scotland stays mainly dry.

Odd showers graze the south coast, but much of southern England and East Anglia will be dry until some rain arrives into the evening.

Today's top temperatures will reach 19C in the southeast, 17C for the Midlands, 14C further north and west, but only 11C in western Scotland.

Have a great day.
Garry
