Unsettled; blustery winds with showers and or rain

Good morning,

Through the day expect longer spells of rain to move across the country but also frequent blustery showers pushing on to western areas, particularly the coasts and hills. Dry ands bright periods inbetween too.

The southwesterly winds will be fresh to strong with near gales towards coasts.

Overnight, the rain and showers ease across much of England, though showers are still expected to push on to Wales and northern England. Staying largely wet and windy across Scotland. A chilly night for the north and west.
