Plenty of showers and longer spells of rain with breezy conditions continuing although improving from the west.
The morning will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain and showers for many, however, much of Ireland and Northern Ireland should gradually become largely dry. Gale force winds are still expected across south and southeast England and exposed western areas of Scotland. Breezy elsewhere.
The afternoon will see showers, heavy and persistent in places as well as being possibly thundery, continue. Brighter conditons look to develop across Ireland and Northern Ireland as well as western Scotland. Staying windy for most but winds should gradually ease across southeast England but strengthen across eastern coasts of Scotland.
Overnight, showers, some still heavy at times, will continue across eastern Scotland, northern England and into eastern England too. Few showers and more in the way of drier conditions further west with clear spells about. A possible touch of frost across western and some southern regions of Sotland as well as central and eastern regions of Ireland.
