Morning Call - May 27, 2021
A better day
Feeling milder

Issued: 0530hrs Thursday 27th May 2021
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

A brighter day with sunny spells and feeling warmer, although cloud and patchy rain in Ireland

A fine morning across many parts of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. There will be plenty of sunshine around, although always a little more cloud in eastern areas. Thicker cloud moving into western Ireland will be bringing some outbreaks of rain to the south west of Ireland throughout the morning. This will be edging its way eastwards a northwards as the morning progresses.

Cloud will tend to increase across most areas through this afternoon although there will always be some sunny spells, the best of them in more northern and eastern parts of England and Scotland. Western parts of Wales and western England will see Highcloud increasing making the sunshine more hazy. Some outbreaks of drizzle developing across much of Ireland although staying dry in Northern Ireland. Feeling milder for all.

Tonight is done through Ireland and western Scotland with the rain becoming more persistent at times. Broken cloud elsewhere and staying mostly dry with some missed by the morning.
