Wednesday
A cloudy morning although turning milder. Breezy too with a risk of gales in the west and south. Periods of rain and drizzle will be affecting many parts of the country, although a tendency to be turning drier from the west, although still cloudy with drizzle on western coasts and hills. Breezy and mild this afternoon with more persistent rain reaching Wales and southwest England later. Further rain in northern Scotland. Cloudy elsehere, some drizzle and low cloud shrouding western hills and coasts. becoming brighter in Ireland although some heavy showers. Highs at 10 to 14C.


Wednesday Night
A few heavier bursts of rain passing through England and Wales tonight, clearing east. Showers then follow onto western coasts and hills, a few of them heavy. Drier for other areas and a few clear skies developing too. Lows at 5 to 7C.

 
 
 


Thursday
A southwest flow affects the country on Thursday bringing with it plenty of cloud. Some showers over western coasts and hills. Drier and brighter in the east with some sunny spells at first, breezy in the west. Further showers this afternoon, some of them heavy although staying drier in eastern England and eastern Scotland. Showers too in Ireland. Highs at 14C in East Anglia and southeast England, 12C in northern Scotland.


Friday
Heavy rain and strong winds in southern England on Friday as a small but deep area of low pressure passes east. More rain to come through much of central, southern and eastern England during the day, slowly brightening from the west. Heavy showers in Ireland, although drier at first in the east. Scotland should be bright and dry with sunny spells although some showery rain in the west in the afternoon. Tops near 9 to 12C.
