Monday
Rain through Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland as well as western parts of England today. Some of it may be heavy at times, especially in western Scotland. Cloudier skies in the rest of England with some showery rain though many should be dry though cloud shrouding hills. Little change into the afternoon with rain in the west and north, low cloud and drizzle in more central and eastern areas, although an odd brighter spell may develop in the east. Highs at 8 to 14C.


Monday Night
A wet night for many though much of the rain will clear for many during the early hours. Spells of rain continue though across north and central Scotland throughout with some heavy bursts of rain still expected heading into dawn across Wales and NW England. A mild with lows at 6 to 9C.
 


Tuesday
A particularly wet start in northern Scotland with persistent spells of rain, these eventually clearing. Showery rain about for many in the north through the morning, before largely clearing to the north to see a mostly dry afternoon with developing sunny spells for many across SE Scotland, England and Wales. Cloud thickening with rain spreading eastwards across Ireland, Northern Ireland into western Scotland and eventually far western areas of England and Wales. South-westerly winds strengthening. Highs at 10 to 13C.


Wednesday
Another unsettled day with low pressure over Scotland driving fronts eastwards. These bring cloud and rain with them, some of the rain being heavy in the north and west. Brighter spells and showers for many, most showers in the west and south. Showers following into southern Ireland, Wales and southwest England some heavy and thundery. A blustery day. Highs at 9 to 14C.
