Another chilly day for Tuesday. Lots of cloud in much of England and eastern Wales with further spots of rain through central and eastern areas. More persistent showers may affect eastern Kent and eastern Sussex. Cloud more broken in western Wales, southwest England with some sunny spells here. The best sunshine during the day in western Scotland and western Ireland. Highs at 6 to 8C/


Wednesday Night
A chilly night with plenty of cloud, especially on Wales, the Midlands and northern England. Some showery bursts of rain in northern and central England. Clearer skies in southern England and western Scotland. Lows at 0C under clear skies, 5C in cloudier areas.
 


Thursday
High pressure north of Scotland on Thursday. The east to northeast wind brings more cloud and a few showers across northern and eastern England as well as parts of Ireland. Brighter in central and southern England and Wales with some sunny spells here. Sunny and dry in western Scotland but some cloud in the east. Highs at 6 to 10C.
 


Friday
The UK and Ireland stay under high pressure on Friday. Dry with the best spells of sunshine in the south and west, although there could be some early fog patches in more sheltered areas. Some cloud in eastern areas and a few showers here too. Highs at 7 to 9C after a morning frost.
