Sunday
A brief ridge of high pressure brings a largely dry start to Sunday and on a developing southwesterly wind flow milder temperatures will push in for most today. Cloud will soon thicken for most with outbreaks of rain expected to push in across Ireland, Northern Ireland, northern parts of England and across Scotland. Largely dry through the rest of England and Wales. The winds strengthening to near gale and gale force for some by the end of the day. Highs rising to 8 to 13C for most, still a chilly north Scotland with highs here at 4 or 5C.

Monday

Heavy showers as well as longer spells of rain affecting many with limited sunny spells, though the rain does look to start to clear from the west later on with drier and brighter weather here.
