Tuesday
Rain in southeast England at first this morning, slowly clearing to the south. Showers in Scotland and Ireland as well as northwest England. These showers turning wintry over the hills. Brighter weather eventually arrives in northern Scotland, sinking south. This afternoon sees an are of wintry showers moving into northern England and north wales, a few showers arriving in the Midlands too. Dry and bright to the south. Feeling colder for all. Highs at 2C in northern Scotland, 8C in southern England.


Tuesday Night
Some showers in southeast England this evening and overnight. Further showers merging to longer spells of rain in Ireland and these affecting western Scotland too. A few showers in northwest England. Drier elsewhere although rather cloudy. Lows at -5C in central Scotland, generally 0 to 2C elsewhere.
 


Wednesday
Rain spreading to Ireland, southwest Wales and southwest England on Wednesday morning, A n early frost in the north and east although cloud increasing. The rain then pushing east through the rest of Ireland and Wales and southwest England as well as central and southern England. Dry in Scotland, although rain arriving in the southwest. Staying dry in much of eastern England until evening. Highs at 3C in northern Scotland, 8C in southern England.


Thursday
An unsettled day with rain and fresh to strong winds crossing the country. Some snow over the hills of Scotland and northern England. Turning brighter through central and western areas in the afternoon, although there will be heavy and potentially thundery showers in the west and south. Heavy showers in Ireland throughout the day. Highs around 7C in northern Scotland, 12C in southern England and Ireland.
