Milder air moves back in next week. Contrasting weather for north and south.

One or two more chillier mornings then milder air moves back in for many. High pressure influences mainly dry conditions further south, while low pressure brings rain and showers at times further north with brisk winds too.

Sunday 7/11/21
A ridge of high pressure gradually builds in on Sunday. This will bring drier weather for many but also a fair amount of cloud in northern and western Scotland where there will be some patchy rain about. Some showers blowing in across southwest Scotland and northwest England on a north-westerly wind too. Winds still brisk in the north and northeast but comparatively lighter elsewhere. Highs at 8 to 12C.


Monday 8/11/21
The high pressure ridge still influences mostly dry conditions through Monday, although a front edges into north and west Scotland and Northern Ireland bringing some rain here, turning heavy across west Scotland at times. Winds will also strengthen. Highs at a mild 12 to 15C, although chillier in the east and across northern Scotland.
 


Tuesday 9/11/21
Showers affecting western parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland and western counties of Ireland on Tuesday. A weakened front moves south down England and Wales bringing some patchy rain here, heavy bursts through Wales at times. Dry elsewhere with best of the sunny spells in the east. Highs at 8 to 12C in the north and a mild 12 to 15C further south.

Wednesday 10/11/21
Outbreaks of rain across northern and western parts of Scotland on Wednesday with showers affecting northwest Ireland. Drier elsewhere but with rather a lot of cloud about. Highs at 9 to 13C.

Thursday 11/11/21
High pressure over southern parts of England sees again a dry day for most, although spells of rain will push across northern and central regions of Scotland with brisk winds here. Highs at 9 to 14C.

Friday 12/11/21
A band of rain will slide southwards down the country bringing cloud and rain for a time then drier conditions once the rain passes. High pressure holds on across the far south of England where it should remain dry throughout. Highs at 9 to 13C.
