Mild and rather cloudy, patchy rain and drizzle in north and west

A rather cloudy week ahead as high pressure slowly builds to the south. There will be some low cloud and mist ant times with fog patches over western and northern coasts too. Eastern areas tending to be drier with the best chances of some sunny spells here. Mild for all.

Wednesday 10/11/21
A front is over southern England and Wales on Wednesday bringing more cloud, rain and drizzle. Misty too with some fog drifting onto the hills and coasts. Brighter further north with some sunshine in Scotland and Irland, the best of them in the east. Some cloud and outbreaks of light rain in the far north of Scotland. Highs at a mild 14C in southeast England, 9C in northern Scotland.

Thursday 11/11/21
Rain will be affecting Scotland on Thursday, most in the west. Rain in Ireland, again most of this is western areas too. Rather cloudy for the rest of the British Isles, some drizzle affeting western coasts. The best of any brightness in the east and south. Staying mild in the south at 14C, 10C in northern Scotland.

Friday 12/11/21
Low pressure to the north of Scotland on Friday. High pressure to the south of England. The southwest flow brings plenty of cloud. Some rain and drizzle in northern England, Scotland and much of Ireland, especially over western coasts and hills. Brighter at times in southeast and eastern England. Windy in northwest Scotland. Highs at 9 to 14C.

Saturday 13/11/21
A ridge of high pressure builds again on Saturday. Plenty of cloud for most areas. Drizzle and low cloud over western coasts of the UK and Ireland, together with some fog. Probably drier in the east, some brighter spells could occur here too. Highs at a cooler 7C in northern Scotland, 14C in southwest England.

Sunday 14/11/21
High pressure remains on Sunday, probably centred east of the UK. Dry with a fair amount of cloud and mist or fog patches for many. Some thicker cloud and outbreaks of drizzle in western Ireland and western Scotland. Highs at 8 to 14C.

Monday 15/11/21
High pressure to the east, low pressure to the west. A band of cloud and outbreaks of rain in eastern Ireland and Scotland. A few bright spells in eastern England. Highs at 9 to 13C.
