Chilly with showers, then wet in Scotland, windy at times

Chilly to start this week. There will be showers, mostly around the coasts. By Thursday cloud is going to be increasing in the north bringing further outbreaks of rain to northern and western Scotland and Ireland. The rain may become more heavy at times in Scotland through the weekend, then windier and slightly milder into the new week.

Thursday 4/11/21
High pressure remains west of Ireland on Thursday. A frontal system north of Scotland brings cloud here, and there could be some drizzle close to northern coasts. Showers may still affect southwest Wales and southwest England with further showers, some heavy over the coasts of eastern England, especially East Anglia. Drier elsewhere with the best sunshine to the south, but always more cloud in the north. Highs at a cool to cold 7 or 8C in Scotland, 11C in the far south of England.

Friday 5/11/21
A ridge of high pressure to the south of the UK on Friday. A southwesterly flow develops and this is going to bring more cloud, especially to western and northern areas. Some drizzle over western Scotland and the far west of Ireland. Drier in most areas, but some sunshine in the east and south. Staying cool at 8 to 10C.
 

Saturday 6/11/21
A southwest flow develops on Saturday with fronts bringing some rain and strong winds to northern and western Scotland and Ireland. A risk of low cloud and drizzle affecting western coasts of Wales and England. Brighter and drier in eastern and southern areas. Highs at 10 to 12C.

Sunday 7/11/21
Cloudier skies across Scotland, northern and western England, Wales and Ireland. Drizzle over western and northern coasts of Ireland as well as western Scotland and northwest England. Dry for other areas, so,me sunny spells to the south and east. Highs at 8 to 12C.

Monday 8/11/21
A front moving south is expected to bring some rain to northern England, Wales and Ireland on Monday. Drier in southeastern and central England with wind and cloud here. Heavy showers in northern Scotland. Windy for all. Highs at 13C in southern England, 9C in northern Scotland.

Tuesday 9/11/21
A windy day with cloud and some outbreaks of rain through Tuesday., Most of the rain across western parts of England and Wales as well as Ireland and perhaps western Scotland. Tending to be less rain in the east. Highs at 8C in northern Scotland, 12C in southern England.
