Milder weather with plenty of cloud and some drizzle and mist at times

A mild spell of weather ahead, although staying rather mixed. There will be weak fronts affecting the country through, most rain being light and drizzly and tending to be through Ireland, Wales and northern England. A tendency towards mistier conditions later in the forecast, a risk of some fog at times too.

Tuesday 9/11/21
Low pressure to the north of Scotland on Saturday. Rain and gales, some of them severe affecting much of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Rain in Scotland and Ireland too, this reaching northwest England. Bursts too for western Wales and southwest England. Drier in central and eastern areas of England and Wales bur breezy for all. Highs at 9 to 12C.
 

Wednesday 10/11/21
The front remains through southern Ireland, Wales and northern England on Wednesday. This brings some outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Dry to the south with a fair amount of cloud, and some breaks developing in parts of the Midlands giving a few bright spells. Sunny spells in Scotland with a few showers west and north. Highs at a very mild 16C in southern England, 9C in northern Scotland.

Thursday 11/11/21
Rain will be affecting Scotland on Thursday, heavy in the west, The rain band slipping south into northern parts of England and Ireland. Some brighter skies arriving in northern Scotland, although a few showers here. Dry to the south with a lot of cloud. Staying mild in the south at 14C, 10C in northern Scotland.

Friday 12/11/21
A ridge of high pressure builds again on Friday. Plenty of cloud for most areas. Drizzle and low cloud over western coasts of the UK and Ireland, together with some fog. Probably drier in the east, some brighter spells could occur here too. Highs at a cooler 8C in northern Scotland, 15C in southwest England.

Saturday 13/11/21
Pressure remains high through Saturday. It should be dry. Some mist or fog may occur in the morning, this possibly remaining in some places throughout the day, but for most it should be dry and rather cloudy. Highs at 8 to 13C.

Sunday 14/11/21
High pressure remains on Sunday, probably centred over southern areas. Dry with a fair amount of cloud and mist or fog patches for many. Some thicker cloud and outbreaks of rain in northern and western Scotland. Highs at 8 to 13C.
