Morning Call - March 05, 2021
Mostly dry
More sunny spells

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 5th March 2021
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

Mostly dry with some sunny spells, best in the west.

A frosty start to northern and western areas on Friday. Largely dry with more in the way of sunshine about, although eastern areas could still hang on to the lower cloud cover.

This afternoon cloud looks to thicken across western parts of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the far west of Scotland where there is the risk of a few spots of rain, but it should remain mostly dry across the whole of the UK.

A largely dry night for most areas under clearing skies allowing for a frost to be rather widespread across the UK. More cloud cover across west Scotland and through much of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Patchy light rain affecting the Northern and Western Isles through the early hours with more persistent rainfall expected to reach the far west of Ireland before dawn.
