The afternoon will see rain becoming more widespread across Scotland, and heavy at times in the west, as well as across Ireland. Staying largely cloudy but some sunshine is expected to develop across some far southern English counties. Staying breezy.
Overnight, the largely cloudy and windy conditions continue. Rain still affecting northern and western areas but largely dry elsewhere. Later in the night skies look to gradually clear across the far south.
