Cloud with outbreaks of rain and feeling milder, then very windy tonight

A noticeable change in the weather today for all. Gone is the settled and cooler weather of high pressure, replaced by windier and cloudier air from the Atlantic Ocean. This is going to be bringing milder conditions but also damper weather for all. There will be outbreaks of rain throughout this morning in England, Wales and Ireland as well as western Scotland, althougha tendency for some drier spells in northeast England and eastern Scotland. Most of the rain in southeast England.

This afternoon it becomes the turn of northwest Wales, northwest England and southwest Scotland to experience most of the rain. Windy elsewhere, again with lots of cloud and spots of rain in the wind. Low cloud and drizzle affecting many western and southern hills and coasts. Again tending to be drier in northeast England and eastern Scotland.

Get the hatches battened down for tonight as a spel,s of very windy weather, with gusts up to 60mph will be passing through Ireland and then England and Wales. There will be rain, but at least no frost.
