Issued: 0530hrs Sunday 7th March 2021
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

Much of England, Wales and Ireland see a dry day with some good spells of sunshine developing at times. Cloud thickens further north with patchy outbreaks of rain passing from west to east across Scotland and slowly spreading south into the far north of England and Ireland throughout the day.

Good Morning,

A mostly dry and fair start to the day across England, Ireland, Wales and Northern Ireland. There will be variable amounts of cloud around with some sunny spells. Cloud thickens further north and patchy outbreaks of rain spread from west to east across the northern part of Scotland - perhaps reaching as far south as northern parts of the Central Belt.

The afternoon continues dry with good spells of sunshine for parts of England, Wales and Ireland. Further north cloud continues to thicken while rain spreads further south into the far north of Ireland and reaching southern parts of Scotland too.

Cloud and rain spreads further south during the evening spreading into northern parts of England eventually. Elsewhere across England as well as Ireland and Wales it stays dry. The best of the evening's clearest skies will be around the southern Irish Sea and through southern England.

Have a good day!

Claire
