Morning Call - March 29, 2021
Sunny and warm
Rain in northwest

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 29th March 2021
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

An increasingly sunny and warm day for many, although the northwest will see cloudier skies and rain. Winds easing.

Dry across England, Wales and much of Ireland but expect rather cloudy skies to start before sunny spells develop as the cloud gradually thins. Dry with sunny spells across northern and northeastern parts of Scotland too, however, western Scotland will see outbreaks of rain. This is the same across northern parts of Ireland into Northern Ireland. Breezy to start but winds should ease off.

The afternoon will be largely sunny and feeling warm across much of the country. Staying cloudy and wet though across much of western Scotland, however clearing the southwest to allow for dry conditions and sunny spells to develop here. Northern Scotland and the Northern Isles will become cloudy with rain pushing in.

A largely dry night with clear skies across England, Wales and eastern parts of Ireland. More cloud cover for Scotland, northern and western parts of Ireland and Northern Ireland with rain continuing to affect northwest and north Scotland as well as brushing northwestern Irish coasts.
