Largely dry
Patchy drizzle for some

Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 20th March 2021
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

Mainly dry with some sunshine about but light rain/drizzle likely across parts of England

A largely cloudy and damp morning for southern English counties. Thicker cloud and patchy rain, mainly light, pushing across the Northern Isles too. Variable cloud with some sunny spells and dry conditions elsewhere.

The afternoon will see cloud thicken across the far north of mainland Scotland with patchy light rain moving in here. Cloudier skies generally with some patchy drizzle continuing across far southern English counties. Variable cloud amounts elsewhere but staying mainly dry.

Cloudier skies and patchy rain/drizzle moves down through Scotland overnight before clearing the country and moving into northern and central areas of England as well as Northern Ireland towards dawn. A mostly dry night elsewhere with some clear spells about and possible frost patches in the north.
