Mild yet showery. Heavy rain in SW later.

Many regions seeing a dry start on Thursday with bright and or sunny spells, especially further east. Developing showers, some merging in to longer spells of rain across more western areas including much of Wales.

The showery rain pushes eastwards through the day with some heavy bursts in there. A mild day again in a south-westerly wind flow. Heavier rain and strengthening winds moving on across Ireland, Wales and southern England later.

A cloudy night with outbreaks of rain affecting most, some heavy and persistent across southern England, Wales. Strengthened and blustery winds across southern areas also. Staying dry with mist and fog patches developing across central and northern Scotland.
