Morning Call - March 01, 2023
Cloud, feeling cold
Showery rain in east

Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 1st March 2023
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Cloudy and chilly, some spots of showery rain in northern and eastern areas

A rather cloudy morning for many and breezy in England and Wales too. A few showers in eastern areas, these being blown inland. A few sunny spells where the cloud breaks, these most likely in southern areas. Bright spells too in Ireland and southwestern parts of Scotland.

This afternoon brings some further showers in northern and eastern England as well as the Midlands and Wales. Drier in southern England, probably with the best sunshine in the southeast. Fair too in western Scotland this afternoon as well as western Ireland with long periods of sunshine.

Overnight there will be some showery rain in northern England. Dry to the south with some clearer spells. Stying clear too in western Scotland with a forst here.
