Mixed and cooler
The morning sees plenty of cloud with spells of rain affecting southwest England, parts of Wales into eastern Ireland and Northern Ireland, possibly the far west of Scotland. Later, showery rain moves into eastern counties of England and Scotland. Dry otherwise.
The afternoon sees the rain in the west ease for many with some seeing sunny spells develop. The showery rain further east spreads further west across northern and central regions of England. A cooler day than of late.
Overnight, showery rain gradually easing and clearing to allow for much of the country to be dry for the start of Sunday. Northern Scotland though still seeing some rain. Mist and low cloud is expected to develop in places also. Lows at 3 to 7C.
