Becoming drier, though perhaps a chilly Easter

A mixed weekend then higher pressure allows for a drier week next week. Temperatures may rise to feeling pleasantly warm for some mid/late week before an easterly wind flow sets up which will drag in more cloud and cooler temperatures, particularly further east.

Tuesday 4/4/23
A chilly start again for many on Tuesday. It will be another largely dry and fine day with plenty of sunshine, though expect more cloud cover further west where patchy rain looks to affect western regions of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the Western Isles of Scotland for a time. Highs at 11 to 14C.
 

Wednesday 5/4/23
Wednesday is a wet and cloudier day across the north and west, best of the lasting sunshine will be across central, southern and south-east England. Outbreaks of rain progressively move eastwards across Scotland, northern England and Wales, largely clearing Northern Ireland during the afternoon. Highs at 11 to 14C.

Thursday 6/4/23
High pressure starts to build in across the country on Thursday though still weak fronts will bring plenty of cloudy skies and some showery rain. Feeling pleasantly warm in the sunnier spots. highs at 12 to 16C.

Good Friday 7/4/23
High pressure over the country on Friday with a southerly wind flow will see temperatures rise to warm highs in the south and west. A dry day for almost all places. Highs at 11 to 15C.

Saturday 8/4/23
Saturday is another largely dry and fine day thanks to high pressure being dominant. As the winds look to push round more easterly the best of the sunshine and warmth will be in the west. More cloud cover in the east with possible drizzle in places where it is heavy. Highs at 11 to 15C, though cooler in the east.

Easter Sunday 9/4/23
Easter Sunday currently looks to be dry though in a more prominant easterly wind flow cloud may creep in for many and make it feel cool. If so then the best of the warmth and sunshine will be across Ireland and far western areas of the UK. Highs at 9 to 13C.
