Sunny and dry for much of England and Wales but cloud in Scotland, and Ireland, rain in far west later
Frosty on Tuesday morning in much of central and eastern England. Always more cloud in Ireland and western Scotland, with the cloud increasing in the far west of Wales and southwest England. Some patchy rain in western Scotland as well as western and southern Ireland through the morning. Staying fair for other areas with plenty of sunshine.
This afternoon stays fine and dry in much of central, eastern and southern Eng;and. However, cloud is going to be increasing in Scotland, northwest England, wales and southwest England, although staying dry with some bright spells. Thicker cloud for Ireland where rain becomes more persistent in the west as the winds increase.
Tonight sees the wind increasing in northern and western areas as rain slips steadily eastwards. Much of Scotland, Ireland, western Wales and western England become damp. Dry for the rest of England, central and eastern Wales although cloud increases. A touch of frost in southeast England.
