Dry for most, though a few showers on to eastern areas

A bright start for many with plenty of sunshine about, though always more cloud further west. A few showers looking like they want to push on to some North Sea coastal counties of Scotland and England, otherwise dry.

During the afternoon, still most will be dry and fine with sunny spells, though again a few scattered showers cannot be ruled out pushing on easternmost counties.

A mostly dry night though there is a greater risk of a few showery bits affecting parts of western Ireland, parts of Northern Ireland and into western Scotland. Chilly by dawn for most.
