Chilly start and a largely dry day
Good morning,
A chilly and for many a slight frost is about. Mist and fog will gradually lift through the morning to allow for some developing sunny spells. Meanwhile, a weak front brings cloudier skies and some patchy showery rain to north and east Scotland.
Scattered showers still affecting Northern Ireland, parts of Ireland and through the Irish Sea on to coastal areas of Wales. Elsewhere should be dry with the best of the sunny spells across central and southern England.
Cloud builds across the country overnight into Sunday with showery rain moving in across parts of northern and central Scotland, falling as snow over the hgher ground. Scattered showers through some coastal counties of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. With the cloudier skies temperatures won't drop as sharply as last night, though a frost is expected for some.
