Fog patches

Good morning,

A very strong area of high pressure extends across the British Isles today - centred around Wales at around 1047mb, making it one of the highest pressure readings seen in the UK - very rarely have we exceeded 1050mb.

It brings settled weather, with lots of sunshine across the country. Some low level fog patches may be stubborn to clear. A southwesterly breeze affects Scotland, with low cloud affecting western areas, perhaps a little drizzle.

After a frosty start, today's top temperatures reaching 4 to 7C, coolest where fog lingers.

Have a great day.
Garry
