Morning Call - January 22, 2020
Broken cloud
Drizzle west Scotland

Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 22nd January 2020
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Dry for many, broken cloud, but some mist and fog too

Good morning,

A murky start to the day for much of the country. There will be fog patches in places, but a fair amount of cloud too. The cloud breaking in places, especially the east, whilst thicker cloud and some drizzle affects western coasts and hills. Not much will change during this morning.

This afternoon sees further cloud and some bright spells here and there. Again rather murky for some. The thickest cloud in western Scotland where there will be patchy drizzle. It's a fairly quiet night again but one with more mist, fog and some low cloud. Drizzle and rain troubling western Scotland, breezier to the northwest.
