A mostly dry and cloudy day for the UK and Ireland. A few showers are possible at times through the day for Irish Sea coasts. The best of any brightness for eastern and southeastern parts of the UK while western parts of Ireland and Scotland will see rain develop later.

Good Morning,

It's a mostly dry but cloudy start to the weekend for the UK and Ireland. A few spots of drizzle or light rain are possible for western Scotland and for Irish Sea coasts through the morning while the best of the sunshine will be to the southeast of England.

Drizzly outbreaks of rain continue to be possible for northwestern Scotland and Irish Sea coasts through the afternoon while cloud thickens to the west. The best of any brightness will be for central and eastern parts of England and eastern Scotland. Highs ranging from about 6 to 9C.

Rain arrives for western parts of Ireland and Scotland through Saturday evening while the chance of showers persists for Irish Sea coasts of England and Wales. Dry elsewhere but increasingly cloudy. The best chance of clear skies for northeastern areas of England and Scotland.

Have a great day!

Claire
