Milder throughout, some heavy spells of rain in the west, tending to be drier in the east
Mild weather remains through the course of this week, although it will be wet and windy at times as well. Most of the rain is likely through more western parts of the country where they could be localised flooding for brief spells. Tending to be dry in the east and it is here where they will be the most mild conditions.

Friday 19/2/21 Low pressure remains west of Ireland on Friday. A wet and windy day across much of Ireland, western Scotland, Wales and western England. Rain could be heavy at times especially in southern Ireland and western Scotland. Eastern parts of Scotland and eastern England should be generally drier although windy. Drizzle and outbreaks of rain arrive in central and southern England during the afternoon. Plenty of low cloud, mist and fog affecting western and southern coasts and hills. Highs at 8 to 10C.
Saturday 20/2/21 Rain through Saturday across much of southern Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and western England. Some heavy periods of rain affecting northern England and Scotland. Tending to be dry and becoming very mild across East Anglia and Southeast England. Showers for northern and western Ireland. Mild at 9 to 14C.
Sunday 21/2/21 A further area of rain and drizzle moved northwards through England and Wales on Sunday. In some periods of rain for southern Scotland and eastern Ireland to. Plenty of mist and murk around western and southwestern coasts. Tending to be drier in southern and eastern areas with a few bright spells coming through. Drier to in northern Scotland. Highs at 10 to 16C.
Monday 22/2/21 Monday is likely to be a dryer day for many. There will be some bright or sunny spells. Always the risk of lower cloud and some mist affecting western coast and hills. Increasing winds across Ireland will bring rain through the day and this may reach western Scotland and western parts of Wales as well as western England towards the evening. Tops at 10 to 14C.
Tuesday 23/2/21 More rain affects western Scotland and Ireland through Tuesday, this also possibly drifting into Northwest England, western Wales and the far south west of England. The rain may be heavy at times. Drier for the rest of England and Wales as well as eastern Scotland with some bright and sunny spells coming through. Breezy for all. Highs at 10 to 12C.
Wednesday 24/2/21 Rain may again affect western coast of the UK through Wednesday. Probably drier in Ireland and parts of Northwest Scotland. The best of any dry weather will be in central and eastern England where there will be some bright or sunny spells. Highs at 15C in the east, 9C in the west.
