Dry and mild with an increased risk of some slight overnight frosts

Higher pressure is going to be building towards the end of this week. This will be bringing drier weather and maintaining milder conditions too. Overnight frosts may occur under clearer skies.

Friday 26/2/21
An area of high pressure is building over southern parts of the country through Friday. This should be bringing some fair conditions with some good spells of sunshine developing. The best of the sunshine in central and eastern areas. More cloud in western Scotland and Ireland, still some sunny spells in central Ireland. A risk of some drizzle in the far west of Ireland and western Scotland. Little change through the afternoon with broken cloud in the west, sunshine to the east. Highs at 9 to 12C.

Saturday 27/2/21
High pressure is expected to be over the UK on Saturday. There will be some mist and fog patches at first, especially in England, Wales and Ireland. These lifting. The day is then going to be dry with good spells of sunshine, although the threat of some broken cloud developing. Staying dry through the morning and into the afternoon with some sunny spells. Highs at 10 to 14C.

Sunday 28/2/21
High pressure remains overhead the UK and Ireland on Sunday. This may bring some morning mist and fog patches and will lift quickly. Most of the day is then going to be fair with sunny spells. A few plates of broken cloud drifting around, interrupting the sunny spells for some areas. Highs at 10 to 13C.

Monday 1/3/21
Pressure remains high on Monday. A dry day with sunny spells and broken cloud for many areas. Little change throughout the day. Highs at 9 to 11C.

Tuesday 2/3/21
High pressure is likely to be to the east of the UK through Tuesday. This allows for another fair day for most with good spells of sunshine. Some cloud in western Ireland. Highs at 11 to 13C.

Wednesday 3/3/21
Pressure tending to stay high through Wednesday. The day should be fair with sunny spells, the best of them in the east. Broken cloud to the west. Highs at 11 to 14C.
